Solar Scout UK is a free lead generation service that connects UK homeowners with trusted, MCS-certified solar panel installers. We do not install solar panels ourselves — we act as an intermediary to help you obtain quotes from independent installation companies.

2. Our Service

• Our service is free for homeowners — we are paid a referral fee by installers when you proceed with an installation.

• We provide up to 3 quotes from vetted, MCS-certified solar installers in your area.

• We do not guarantee the lowest price, specific installation dates, or outcomes from any installer.

• Quotes are provided directly by the installers, not by Solar Scout UK. All contractual matters (price, installation, warranties) are between you and the installer.

• We do not assess the financial suitability of any installer or their quotes.

3. Eligibility

Our service is available to UK residents who:

• Own or are responsible for a residential property in the UK

• Are aged 18 or over

• Have provided accurate and complete information in their enquiry

4. Your Enquiry

When you submit an enquiry through our website, you agree that:

• All information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

• You are authorised to share the property details you provide.

• You consent to being contacted by Solar Scout UK and our partner installers by phone, email, and SMS in relation to your solar enquiry.

• We may pass your details to up to 3 MCS-certified solar installers to provide you with quotes.

5. Installers

Installers in our network are:

• MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certified

• Independent businesses — Solar Scout UK does not employ or directly manage installers

• Responsible for their own quotes, installation work, warranties, and any disputes

Solar Scout UK is not liable for any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from the actions, quotes, or work of any installer. We encourage you to obtain multiple quotes and read all terms before proceeding.

6. No Guarantees or Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without any guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• An installer will respond to your enquiry

• Any quote will meet your requirements or budget

• The information on our website is error-free or up to date

• Any specific savings or return on investment will be achieved

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Solar Scout UK or its licensors and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solar Scout UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses or damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to loss of profits, savings, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability in connection with these Terms shall not exceed £100.
